Applying to Matheia School is easy! School tours are held throughout the year.
Contact us at (206) 283-1828 to arrange for a time that is convenient for you. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to observe classes, ask questions, and pick up an application packet. If you decide that Matheia is the right choice for your child, complete the packet and return it to our office. We will then arrange for your child to visit the school. Applications are accepted after the deadline; they will be processed on a space-available basis.

2nd Open House: January 12, 2012 6:30 - 8:00 PM
Admissions Application Deadline: February 16, 2012
Financial Aid Application Deadline: February 2, 2012

Criteria for Admissions

All students are welcome to apply to Matheia School. Educational testing is not required.
Selection is based upon several elements:

  • We maintain a class size of ten or fewer students in each grade.
  • Our goal is to have a balanced number of boys and girls in each class.
  • We recognize that each child brings his or her own unique blend of abilities. We strive to compose classes that reflect a wide variety of backgrounds, abilities, and interests, and that will function well as a unit.
  • It is important to us to build strong relationships with families, so we give special consideration to applications of siblings of existing students.
